Configure the Router

Pre-configure any retail router with the deployment's subnet (172.16.<ID>.x) and a DHCP reservation for the server's MAC address. The router ships ready to plug in.

Server installation

Install the Server

SSH into the Ubuntu machine and run one command. The bootstrap script detects the Client ID from the router's DHCP lease, downloads the server software, and starts the service automatically.

Install Each Display Player

Connect each Raspberry Pi to the network and run the client installer. It auto-detects the server, configures WiFi, and registers the device. It appears in the admin panel ready to assign.
